Welcome to Eberjager Great Danes. We are Brom and Sophie, a London based ethical hobby breeder.  From our home, we raise and rear puppies in a supportive and nurturing environment by providing early neurological stimulation and early scent introduction, enrichment and exposure/socialisation using the Puppy Culture program. As members of the now-closed Kennel Club Assured Breeders Scheme, we still breed to high welfare standards and are passionate about the health and welfare of dogs. Our goal is to always raise happy, healthy, & versatile Harlequin, Mantle, Black and Merle Great Dane colour family puppies with outstanding temperaments and longevity from health tested parents, for our family and yours ❤ 

We put every effort into our breeding program so that we ourselves may have a happy, healthy, beautiful, even tempered & fit for purpose prospect, so that is why our litters may be far apart. It also allows us the utter privilege of experiencing the puppies individual personalities evolve over an eight week period and this, alongside early culturing and individual character recognition, assists in selections as they develop into amazing future versatile prospects capable of filling many roles.

You'll find lots of information on our website from assistance dogs and dog modelling, our owners achievements, health testing & all results, to our seasoned dog trainer, Julia Rush (Bosker Dogs & Marka Training as seen on Crufts) who has over 30 years of experience in dogs and dog behaviour. Every Eberjager puppy owner will be invited to a free in person training workshop for training tips, problem solving and life skill lessons alongside our lifetime of support. 

Great Danes descended from Mastiff-like dogs that were bred by German nobility to protect country estates and hunt wild boar and bears. In the 18th century, Great Danes were prestigious guardians of estates and carriages. In light of their astonishing history, we wanted to pay homage to their origins, and so Eber-Jäger (pronounced EBBA–YAY–GAH) [German; Noun] Boar-Hunter is the name we chose to represent us.
